Saturday Club

Congratulations to Lucy and Sophie on passing their Bronze Level Duke of Edinburgh's Award!
They are the first people from our club to achieve this award and we are very proud of them.
They have done really well to manage this in just over a year and they are now working on their Silver Award.

Four of our members are currently meeting on Thursday evenings at the Newport Youth Club and working alongside a group of pupils from St. Catherine's School, aiming to achieve their DofE Bronze Award and progress to work on their Silver.

To achieve the Bronze Award they have to plan and complete an overnight trek.
There are three other sections to complete at the Bronze Level; Voluntary Service, a Physical Challenge and learning a new Skill.

You need to be 14 years old before you can join the Duke of Edinburgh's Award Scheme. Come along and join them as soon as you are old enough - they are really enjoying it!
